MUMBAI: Rising Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has admitted that he was severely beaten by his parents during his upbringing as a child.

In an interview given to Bharatiya TV, Ayushman said that parents are an invaluable part of life, the moments spent with them are always remembered, but Indian parents beat their children badly during Pardosh.

Sharing an interesting story about his father, he said, "My father proudly told someone that his son would become a big star one day, but I didn't know that when he saw him." When told about it, he was scared thinking what would happen if he could not become a star as his father had predicted.

The Bollywood star said that after a lot of difficulty I had to convince my parents to allow me to do theater during my college days. will Till 11th and 12th class I had medical field but I had to take up arts due to not getting good marks. After that he studied English Honors and then started doing theaters as well.

Ayushmann Khurrana called Alia Bhatt the biggest superstar of the country and said that he wants to work with her.

It should be noted that actor Ayushmann Khurrana made his debut in Bollywood with the film "Vicky Donor" in the year 2012.
