Mumbai: Indian news website Bollywood Hungama has claimed that Fawad Khan's film 'The Legend of Moolah Jatt' is likely to release in India on December 23.
Indian media sources have claimed that if the film is released on the occasion of Christmas, it will compete with Ranveer Singh's film 'Circus'. Zee Studio is working on the release of 'The Legend of Moolah Jit' in India and next. The final release date will be revealed by Saturday. The action Punjabi film 'The Legend of Moolah Jit' has set a new record at the Pakistani box office by earning Rs 200 crore in just one and a half months.
The Legend of Moolah Jat was made at a cost of around Rs 70 crore and took five years to make, but the film earned double the budget in just one and a half months. The film released in 1979. The remake of 'Moola Jatt', starring Hamza Ali Abbasi, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Humima Malik among others, was directed by Bilal Lashari and produced by Amara Hekmat.
